Chan (founder of Kalexiko) first met Jason Pitt, the CEO of Made in the Midlands at our first offices in Wolverhampton Science Park over eight years ago. Now Kalexiko has become a key partner of Made in the Midlands, helping the business to develop their innovative platform to promote manufacturing in the Midlands.

Made in the Midlands has progressed from strength to strength since its expansion in 2009, from a printed newspaper campaign to a dedicated membership body. Its key strength lies in the cultivation of long-term relationships, which has seen its survival during economy setbacks and uncertainty around recruitment within the manufacturing industry.

Offering our web development expertise to Made in the Midlands has enabled a strong collaboration of manufacturing businesses to be nurtured in an online portfolio.

Kalexiko’s involvement is planned to develop further, as the business expands to include other ‘Made in’ brands, namely Made in Yorkshire and Made in London; an exciting episode ahead for Kalexiko and leaders within the UK manufacturing industries, up and down the country.

Over the past decade, we've had some challenges working together but have always found a way to overcome them. Through working with Made In the Midlands, Kalexiko have won several other clients, such as Aluminum Heat Treatment, Ramfoam, BraceBridge Engineering and LVH Coatings. To date, we've only relied on in-bound leads to win new contracts, in which most have come through referrals from our existing client-base.
