A stylish and sophisticated e-commerce site

The aim

Jawbone supply elegant hi-tech Bluetooth headsets that eliminate background noise, and they came to us wanting a simple yet effective e-commerce website to support a special offer they were running for their sales reps, as well as helping to build on their brand identity. They wanted to create a shopping experience that played on the exclusivity of their brand, involving the generation of 20,000 promotional verification codes, and building a stylish website with the back-end to handle them. They needed a site that was simple, clean and easy to use, as well as reflecting their state of the art products with a modern and elegant design.

The delivery

The important thing here creating an e-commerce site that actually worked, and running the offer successfully. This meant creating a back-end system for the site that could handle all of the promo codes, as well as being intuitive, easy to use and secure. When people are parting with their money they need to have confidence in the system, and Jawbone had to be confident that their offer couldn't be abused. On top of that, we looked at their branding and decided that this had to be a website that provided a VIP experience for their customers, and reflected the tasteful minimalism of their products.

The difference made

The offer worked splendidly, with lots of orders being placed on the site without any hitches. But this project wasn't really about money; much like Jawbone's headsets, this was about delivering a message with clarity and style. We built a website that focussed on the core brand values of simplicity and sophistication, combined with the security and intuitiveness necessary for an effective e-commerce site. The offer was hugely successful from a logistics perspective, and more importantly helped Jawbone achieve significant brand uplift in the UK as a result.
