Welcoming online resource encourages tender signups

The aim
B2B Quote is an online resource where a wide range of service businesses such as accountants, builders, IT, architects, security, skills trainers, etc, can sign up to receive regular updates from organisations wanting to find contractors to deliver tenders. The client wanted a complete site rebuild which would encourage an increase in signups by giving their customers a much more rewarding and satisfying experience. The content had to be welcoming and user friendly and it also had to be much easier and quicker for the site visitor to both find and register critical information.
The delivery
This could have been easy. At Kalexiko we are so used to creating clinical, fast moving, great looking websites we could have quickly put this one together. The problem is, that's simply not how we work. Instead, we spent time with the client to ensure that the site would not only look fantastic, but that it would deliver a great customer experience at every turn. Clean and colourful graphics to guide the user, quick loading, easy to use registration and automatic email alerts to support and reassure at every point were all created. As ever, Kalexiko's meticulous attention to detail and uncompromised determination to get everything absolutely spot on completely paid off. The client was delighted with the result and we were very happy too.
The difference made
This was all about matching supplier businesses with the organisations offering tenders and when it comes to connecting people with people, this site's usability is second to none.
By taking time initially to find out what really frustrated users, our problem solving design has created a website that works extremely efficiently. Visitors are not given unnecessary detail but they are quickly guided to the essential information they need and warmly encourage to take the next step to signup. The overall experience for the user is a positive and enriching one and it's not surprising that the result for B2B Quote has been a significant uplift in site visits and registrations.
