Content Manage

You CAN update your website: you MUST update your website!

Imagine booking a test drive in the latest Ferrari, but the showroom is still doing steam-powered; you'd go elsewhere. A website with the same content as the day it was launched is going to be a very large, white and costly elephant; it's not going to be read.


It's short-sighted, especially when our content management system allows you to instantly update your website from any computer, at any time, via a secure login. Regular visitors want to read your new blog or newsletter, or see your new range, or check your latest offers; and new material is always likely to attract new visitors. Search engines are very keen on refreshed content.


You won't wreck the website, because we do design, you do content; our body, your skin-paint. This won't hold true for every part of every page; your home page, for example, will be highly stylised with a precise layout, but some of it may be easily updated, such as a ‘Latest News’ feature, for example. We agree the areas of the site where you should update content as often as you need, and then make sure you can do it as easily as possible.

Of course, the content you upload must be good stuff — copy must be interesting, short and accurate, and in the right style; images must also be sharp and professional. And it must be produced by the right people — you wouldn't ask a plumber to do brain-surgery, so don't expect an office junior to devise winning new campaign copy at short notice.
