Birmingham Library in Birmingham City, England United Kingdom
Birmingham Library
The current building was designed by John Madin, a Birmingham architect and its inverted ziggurat structure is a powerful example of the Brutalist style. The library opened in the year 1974 and is the third library in the vicinity of Birmingham City. The library as most will agree is a bit outdated and is due to be refurbished to cater for the current future demands of the citizens of Birmingham.
