There
are plenty of fantastic opportunities for Netweaver Developers with a
main role to manage the contribution to new development and support of
SAP based on an in depth analysis of technical and functional needs.
The SAP Senior Analyst Developer is responsible for the design,
programming, testing of report generation, lay outs, uploads,
downloads and interfaces.
Key Accountabilities:
-
Be part
of the SAP Customer Competence Center (CCC) team providing 2nd and 3rd
Level Application support to business users either as a senior member
or as the lead.
-
Works
closely with the Configurers and carries out development based on the
functional specifications provided.
-
Responsible for managing the Triaging of Incidents and Service
Requests within area of expertise and ownership as per established
SLA's.
-
Has a
good understanding of the rationale behind any custom and existing
development in the respective SAP modules.
-
Supervises work by respective Developer Analyst(s) and carry out
development and support work in their areas.
-
Be a
part of the Problem management team and work closely with the Solution
Manager, Technical Support Manager, CCC Manager and the Service Desk
Manager to close the Problem Records pertaining to his / her stream.

Communicates effectively with the Business users, CCC members and IS
users for ensuring speedy and timely resolution of issues / problems.
-
Manages
transition from development to support, as and when any project /
enhancement are moved to production and provide sign-off on completion
of transition against agreed acceptance criteria.

Creates, reviews and approves documents generated on an ongoing basis
for changes made to the baseline documents received during transition.
-
At
certain times you may be required, for operational reasons, to be
available outside normal working hours, and when necessary you may be
called out to deal with particular situations. You may also on
occasions be required by the Company to work longer hours in order to
meet the requirements of the Business.
Experience:
In order to succeed in this role it is
expected that you will have:
-
SAP R/3
or ECC development experience in appropriate SAP toolset.
-
In-depth knowledge of ABAP concepts, BW and Netweaver technologies.
-
In-depth knowledge of core requirements to setup and maintain SAP
environment / solution.
-
Preference to candidates with Functional or Domain experience, having
worked in the UK Utility industry.
