leading clients are seeking for experienced Java / Junit / Linux
developers.
Key Elements of the Java Development
role are.

Involvement in full life cycle software application design and
development.

Production of software and associated deliverables in accordance with
specifications and business quality standards

Development of tools to support testing and data preparation
activities this will be a major element of these contract roles

Active
engagement with peers in design and review process, including
continual improvement

Qualifications/Competencies/Skills Self-motivated, tenacious, curious
and creative with good attention to detail and strong problem-solving
capabilities

Numerate and accurate, capable of self-checking and managing own
workload

Capable
of producing comprehensive software test cases that verify that design
and implementation completely satisfies requirements, ideally using
UML and Enterprise Architect

Knowledge/Experience 3-5 years work-related experience in software
development using Java, JUnit and Linux

Experience of working in a structured, ideally test-driven software
development environment, with particular attention on testing, quality
assurance and peer reviews
